There are many more complaints regarding Webcountry.net and 1dollarhosting.com, many involving reports of unauthorized credit card charges and fraudulent accounts being sent to collection agencies, however there is not enough space here to cite them all.
Based upon my own experiences and the reports on the Internet, it appears as if Web Country is strong-arming their former clientele with unauthorized credit card charges, after the cancellation of their services by their clients, and then enlisting the muscle of, unwitting, collection agencies in a continuation of this shakedown. Web Country continues these practices to this day (June 2010), practices which involve a form of credit extortion which could be fairly portrayed as racketeering.
While it is possible that you may believe that this form of racketeering is a civil matter, I am referring it to you for investigation as a criminal matter anyway.
