Regarding:         Fraudulent Account.

To Whom It May Concern,

From 2002 until November of 2005 I retained a company doing business as 1dollarhosting.com/webcountry.net to host my website.  I terminated my business relationship, via mail, with Web Country (Phil Shapiro) in November 2005 with NO outstanding balance.  Web Country placed an unauthorized and fraudulent charge on my credit card in March of 2006 which I disputed.  After investigation the credit card company removed the charge.

All services that Web Country provided were on a pre-paid basis requiring payment prior to any account activation or perpetuation.  My timely termination of the business relationship with Web Country, 6 months prior to the termination date, canceled any and all future obligations.

The following contact information is being reported for the Web Country Corporate Headquarters:

Web Country Corporate Headquarters
18653 Ventura Blvd Suite 432
Tarzana CA 91356
(Phone) +1 818-728-1128

Web Country then referred this fraudulent account to Progressive Asset Management, a collection agency who reported a delinquency to Equifax based upon this fraudulent account.  Progressive Asset Management reports that they have, since, changed ownership and are, currently, doing business as PMR Progressive, LLC.  Their contact information is:

PMR Progressive, LLC
Corporate Offices
22120 Clarendon Street, 3rd Floor
Woodland Hills, CA 91367
(800) 541-5125

I called PMR today and spoke to the General Manager and informed him of Web Country's activities and their attempts to involve PMR Progressive, LLC in their extortion scheme.  He informed me that he would, manually, remove the adverse notation on my Equifax credit report immediately.
